Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about ivaero
We answer the most common questions about the product, VERI*FACTU, Amazon, pricing, and security. If you don't find your answer here, get in touch.
General
Ivaero imports your sales, generates compliant invoices by applying your tax rules, creates the VERI*FACTU record, and submits it continuously to the AEAT, end to end. Invoices issue on their own when the tax rule that classifies them allows it; the rest wait for your approval.
No. You configure your tax rules once (VAT rates, channels, intra-EU or OSS/IOSS operations) and ivaero applies them automatically to every invoice from then on.
Yes, on the Advisors plan: a single account manages several companies, each with its own tax data, certificate, invoice series, and rules, without mixing information between them. The Starter, Standard and Pro plans include one company.
VERI*FACTU and the AEAT
VERI*FACTU is the Spanish Tax Agency's (AEAT) system for generating and submitting verifiable invoicing records: every invoice must produce a traceable, non-alterable record, cryptographically chained to the previous one.
Every record includes a SHA-256 fingerprint chained to the previous one, so any later alteration or deletion of an already-submitted record is immediately detectable.
Yes, records are transmitted continuously and automatically to the AEAT as soon as they're generated, with no manual submission on your part.
Amazon
Yes, every order is automatically identified as fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) or by you (FBM), with duplicate detection and sync retry if Amazon temporarily fails.
When the buyer's tax data is missing, a configurable rule decides whether to issue a simplified invoice or send the order to manual review, without blocking the rest of your invoicing.
A return is invoiced as a corrective invoice or credit note linked to the original invoice. A refund with no physical return is recorded separately, without being mixed into the order that produced it.
Pricing
You get one free month from activation, with the Standard plan's limits (Amazon integration included), and your account shows the exact date it ends. Nothing is charged automatically when it does: to keep issuing invoices, you choose a plan and add a payment method. If you don't, you can still retrieve or export your data.
Yes. An upgrade applies immediately: you pay only the difference for the current period, and the new limits apply from then on. A downgrade, or a switch between monthly and annual billing, applies at the next renewal, and only if your account fits within the new plan's limits. Before you accept a change, you see its price and the date it takes effect.
The annual plan costs ten times the monthly price: you pay for 10 months and use it for 12. It is charged once a year, in advance, and renews every year until you cancel it.
There's no minimum commitment. You can cancel from your account or by writing to soporte@ivaero.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and the service stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, whether a month or a year; the unused part is not refunded unless the law requires it. For 30 days after it ends, you can get a copy of your invoices and data.
Security
The certificates we use to sign your submissions to the AEAT are always stored encrypted, never in plain text.
You decide who has access: invite your team and assign a different role per company — owner, manager, accountant, or read-only — so each person sees only what they need.
Yes. Who did what, when, and from which company is recorded, and for every submission to the AEAT we keep the XML that was sent and the response it returned.
